NEW! Holiday home Bennasch in the Hunsrück: The perfect group accommodation for family celebrations and group gatherings for up to 20 people
Our generation house Bennasch is designed for celebrations of families and groups.
It is situated in Mörsdorf, where for 3 years the imposing suspension bridge “Geierlay” connects Mörsdorf with Sosberg (see HIGHLIGHTS).
The holiday home Bennasch is right next to our Zehnthaus, which you can find out HERE if you need additional accommodation. You can meet exclusively here, cook and celebrate together and by the way relax wonderfully in the nature of the Hunsrück.
We have the house completed in 2018 for family celebrations, seminars, meetings with friends, hiking groups, cooking events a.o.m. It serves with accomodation for max. 20 persons as a self-catering group.
Of course, it also makes great use to stay here with fewer people, as it increases the comfort for each one.
The house has 3 double bedrooms with box spring beds (180 cm),- each with its own bathroom, 3 double bedrooms with sofa bed with shared bathroom (shower and bath) and separate toilet, and in the DG a double room with a small double bed (160 cm wide) 3-bed room and a shared shower room with WC.
(For details, see EQUIPMENT & FLOOR PLAN)
In the house and in the garden there is the Wi-Fi network “Freifunk”.
The whole house is heated by underfloor heating.
In addition, there are common areas in the Groundfloor with 2 fully equipped kitchens (gas stove), 2 fireplaces, various sofa and sitting areas as well as a round dining table and a long dining table.
3 parking spaces are available on the property, further cars have to be parked on a 300 m distant parking lot.
The large garden with its terraces is fully furnished and of course belongs to the property. The small wooden house is intended as an outbuilding for drying the laundry, for bicycles and for hiking boots.
There is a professional gas grill for outdoor use, and seating at 2 tables, each 1 x 3 m, for 20 people.
There are also 10 beach chairs outside.

Haus Bennasch für Großgruppen
The folding door is practical:
It separates both halves visually and acoustically if required.
House Bennasch: Left and right.
House Bennasch has two stairways to the upper floors. So, upstairs and in the attic, the house is divided into two parts.
Differently, on the ground floor you can use the spacious living, cooking and dining areas as ONE continuous unit, or make a division here by closing the folding door.
Then some of you can still celebrate and the others already sleep or retire to the second living area.
Essentials House Bennasch
Maximum occupancy: 20 persons
The house has 2 entrances. Both halves of the house can be connected by an internal folding door without having to step outside the door.
The left half offers 6 beds, and there is ample space for common activities on the ground floor.
The right half offers 14 beds, and yet a living area on the ground floor.
The holiday home Bennasch is shielded by a gate from the street. On the terraces (120 square meters) and in the garden (650 square meters) you can therefore completely stay among yourselves.
House 1 and House 2 each have a terrace on the entrance side.
House 2 has an additional terrace on the front of the house.

Cooking, eating and celebrating together - at the long table or in large groups.
The ground floor is intended as a meeting place for the whole group. But even if the folding door is closed, because some want to retire at the right part of the house, 20 people can cook and eat together in the left part of the building.
Ground floor: Left Half
Living, cooking, being together.
Haus Bennasch has two kitchens and two living areas on the ground floor. On a total of about 180 square meters is so enough space – for groups up to 20 people, – even if you want to use only the left half of the house for a celebration, because then there are still about 90 square meters
Ground Floor: Right Half
In 2015, the “Geierlay” was completed: For a few months, it was the longest suspension bridge in Germany.
The community had to give up this title again, but now it is still the most beautiful one for us. It connects Mörsdorf with Sosberg and is part of a diverse hiking network.
LAGE & UMGEBUNG
The main attraction in direct proximity is Germany’s most beautiful suspension bridge, the Geierlay with a length of 360 m.
In the neighboring village of Bell there is an animal adventure park with trained tigers and other exciting offers. And of course there are well signposted trails around Mörsdorf in any length and difficulty through the wonderful hilly landscape of the Hunsrück with its typical wild Moselle side valleys.
Here on the Hunsrückkamm the sun shines longer than down at the Moselle. Nevertheless, you can always make a trip there. By car you will get to in Treis-Karden on the Moselle in 25 minutes. Cochem, Burg Eltz and the Middle Rhine Valley, e.g. at Boppard are as well not far away, and the Loreley is conveniently reachable within about 30 minutes.
Mörsdorf with its approximately 700 inhabitants has a village school, a bakery, a local history museum, a restaurant in the visitor center and lots of beautiful nature, which starts right next to the village.
